Great deal on the Husky liners, and thanks for getting those pics of your mudflaps up. I test fit mine, and discovered the Surf widebody flares are different than the Ltd. and Sport flares, and those flaps won't work for me after all, doh.

Ya. Been watching that development. Interesting that they have a wider base on them. But on the scale of problems to have when owning a bad-a$$ diesel Surf, I'd take that one in a second!

Thanks. Yeah, it would be nice to be able to find it a little cheaper, but I think it's worth it to spend the money on a proper shell if you plan on spending any time outdoors in some not-so-great weather conditions.

What's the stats on yours? Year, color...

Sliders

Trying to decide now what to do with the running boards. I like the looks of them without better, but I also like being able to get to my rack with surfing.

You could get some slick sliders with the step ups. They look good, functional, and protect your baby.

That's a little harsh man! Seriously??? I'm not a huge fan of the tube bumpers, and find the truck did look better with the stock one, but it's hardly Hideous! I sure wouldn't mind owning it!

All non-sense aside, Hepar, my opinion (take it for what it's worth, probably not much! lol):

The truck looks great, but could look better with a color matched plate bumper, or just a stock piece. You're wheel / tire combo looks great too, but I'd add some wheel spacers to push the tires out a little more. I find having the tires stick out a little more, gives the truck a more aggressive look!

That being said, so far all the mods you've done are pretty tasteful, and well, I sure as heck wouldn't mind owning that fine piece of machinery! :jump:

Don't worry guys. Sogood(AJ) is just mad because I'm making him give back the light sphere I let him borrow months ago. Oh and my Dremel too.

Fightman: Thanks for your opinions. I will always welcome them, whether I agree with them or not. I LOVE my tube bumper. I'm on the small side of people who like tube over plate. I just think the strong angles of a plate bumper don't line up well with the smoother rounded lines of the 3rd gen. As far as pushing the tires out, they're already sticking out to the edge of the flare. Which is exactly what I wanted. Anymore and they'd be sticking past it, which is what I don't want. Thanks again for the thoughts, Keep 'em coming.
