Picked up my T4R last night. Took it for a second test drive, came back and made an offer. Truck is a 2001 Limited 4x4, Sunfire Pearl Red with tan or "oak" colored leather interior. It is in great shape, no rust, dings, or dents, and almost no scratches to speak of. The few light ones here and there should buff out without a problem. The owner provided me with a large folder with almost every maintenance and oil change receipt and itemized printout of work performed from the shop he has used over the years. He picked it up in early 2002 with around 5k miles on it from the same dealer he recently bought his 2009 Runner from. I have the original owners manuals and etc., as well as the original window sticker. Will take some pics when I get a chance and would like to thank everyone for the help, suggestions, and comments that I have recieved over the past month or so. :cheers: Only problem I can see or am aware of is a tricky hood latch that is giving me trouble. I'm pretty sure the cable or latch spring needs lubed or adjusted. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about the 4Runner. Everything is tight, rattle and noise free, and the truck runs great. P.S.- The previous owner had in his garage an 09 4Runner, a new Venza (spelling?) and a 2005/2006 Camry or Corolla. Needless to say, they are definitely a Toyota familiy, lol. He showed me his new Runner, and it was the first time I have looked at one in up close and in person. Very nice truck, and would love to have one someday.
