Bought myself a 4runner!

A 2006 sport V8 with 66k miles for $13.5k, how did i do?

The rear air suspension would have been nice, but I like these cloth seats wayyy more than leather (although I don't see the point in having power seats with only one driver)
Wheels fairly well although that hitch drags way too much and the highway tires don't work so well in the mud

Yes..if the first owner bought it in 2006, but if that vehicle was bought during the 2nd quarter of 2005(I think the 2006 model was already avail at that time), then 66k I think, is typical mileage for daily commute for 3 yrs.

That is one very nice 4Runner. I really like the wheels of the sport model.

I can't help but think of the orginal owner a 3 year old 4Runner, (well almost 3 years), for $13,500. If it was a 5 year loan, it would be well over $20,000 left on the loan. As far as the miles, I could live with 66,000 miles on a Toyota.

Are those tires the original stock Dunlops? If so, then that 4runner was "strictly street" driven by the previous owner as no Dunlops will last 66K if abused..and thats a very good deal

Private party. My tacoma was bought back by the dealership for 13,800, so basically I went from a 99 Taco TRD Access cab w/130k to a 06 with 66k for $300 less

Not sure if they are the originals or not(I'd be very suprised if they were), they are dunlops and look like OEM equipment.

Yeah no kidding...he said every 2-3 years he buys a new one and this is his 3rd 4runner. Came with the extended warrenty too He said he wanted to get a new limited as he wanted the GPS system. Seems like a huge waste of money but hey if thats what he wants to do, I'm happy with the truck I got!

Already put a 1500W (continuous) inverter in there, a .8 ft^3 microwave, some bins for storage, and a koolatron thermoelectric cooler.

that's hella miles for such a new car. i bought my '03 v8 limited (i LOVE LEATHER) with 65k miles for $15K and this was before the outright economic flub this summer.
