The screens not even that good... nasty glare when the sunroof is open. Angle of the screen is horrible. The JBL badge is it I think...

I find everything about it very nice if you have the JBL. before i buy a car, I DO turn the volume up really loud.

My 2014 TEP sounds great. Many have remarked how good it sounds. Wonderful out of the box bass, BUT I don't listen to the radio unless it's for a football game.

I pump pure max bit rate VBR music created from lossless, non clipped, FLAC files straight from my iPod. If your input is crap, so is the output. Yeah, HD Radio, FM, AM are all lacking, but that's not new. You get used to the good stuff and you don't go back.

No I don't have or need a subwoofer, but "Bass Outlaws - Stereo Bass" still sounds good. :rockon: I don't need to break glass a block away but my bass still works well on local constipation issues.

ESPN radio sounds just great to me? It's a factory system what would you expect, even the Bose system in my wife's Audi sucks compared to aftermarket.

What actually "sucks" is the acoustics. It's a truck, not a concert hall!!

Best bang for your buck: get some sound-deadening material in those doors and hatch. While you're in there, look at the speakers and decide if you want to replace them....(you probably will).:guitar3:

Not a deal breaker, but I would expect a little more from a "premium" sound system. The speakers in my Acura which are not considered premium sound way better.

Easily replaceable, just dont see how they classify it as premium when it sounds like crap from both bluetooth streaming and AUX

Its better than the one speaker AM radio I had in my '76 Chevy truck, which is why every stereo since sounds good to me! Lower your baseline and *poof* your stereo is great!

Sucky stock "premium" stereos are not limited to the T4R. I bought a 2013 Altima SL with BOSE stereo that sucked A$$. I have since traded it in because the transmission had to be replaced before I put 9k on the odo :wtf:

It's foolish to compare your T4R to your Acura. That works be like saying it gets horrible mpg compared to your hybrid and is harder park than your smartcar. The premium you paid for is premium over the T4R base, not over all vehicles you've ever owned.

Sounds more like you're got some buyer's remorse, but that problem lies with you, not the truck. A little more test driving and research should help with that next time.
