BR Roof Rack Side Lighting?

Do any of you BajaRack owners have side lighting mounted to the rack? I'm in the market for lights on the side that I can use to illuminate a wide area around the vehicle and I was thinking the Rigid D2 LED Wide Light set found here might work:

Rigid D2 LED Wide Light Set of 2 50211

The only thing I'm unsure of is what sort of set up would I need to mount them to the BR and how would the wiring work.

Interesting approach. I'm still a little nervous about drilling holes into my 2016 4Runner with less than 6000 miles on it. I'll have to give this some more thought if that's the only way.

It seems to me some people have dropped the wiring down through the mounting plates (drilling in a plate is required) and I know some have routed it down through the rear hatch. I took a shortcut with my cb antenna coax and ran it into the gap between the front and rear doors then under the seat. My el cheapo XM coax is run the same way. Not as pretty or finished looking, but it has been fine for over 2 years now.

There are other ways to run the wiring to the rack. I ran mine up through the windshield channel, then up to the roof gutter underneath the rubber trim. Once you get to a mounting foot, you can come up to the rack and use zip ties to secure it to the rack bars. It's pretty clean.

I ran my CB coax through the interior of the vehicle and up to the rear hatch. Then you can come up to the rear of the rack.

I noticed you still have the old style feet for your rack in that picture. Have you requested a replacement set yet?

No. Mine was bought used in 2014. Baja Rack's replacement deal was first owner and I believe on racks made later. I'm not planning on a RTT anyway, and that's where the weight issue comes into play.
