brake disc dangling

I released the 2 bolts that connect the brake disc to the lower control arm to allow more space to install the lift kit but since the new strut is longer, it's pushing the lower control arm so down and i cant push the brake disc down to reconnect the 2 bolts. Suggestions?

Jack up the lower control arm slowly until you can line up the holes. I'm assuming the rest of the truck is solidly on jack stands. Should only take a little compression.

Agreed, you will have to use bottle jack or something like that to force LCA up
