So as the title implies the problem is this...the brake engaged light (the one that comes on when the emergency brake is engaged) comes on at random intervals. Sometimes while driving, sometimes while idling. There is no rhyme or reason to the light coming on (yes I always check that the brake is disengaged when the light comes on) so it's very hard to attribute it to any one problem or cause. I just need to know if its maybe a short in the wiring somewhere, or if perhaps its a precursor to a potentially major problem that needs to be addressed immediately. Thanks!
