Hi all. When in 4wd mode, my skid/traction activates randomly but quite often. Mainly when taking off from the stop. It blinks the skid light an dethrottles the car so that sometimes I barely move from the stop. Then at some speed (5-10mph) it disengages and all is good at moderate and high speeds. Does it when C/D is locked too, but without dethrottleing, as VSC is off when you lock the center differential. Car moves but hear buzzing noice from brake booster and feel that it brakes some of the wheel. At some speed it goes off too.
So, my conclusion is that it sees wheel spin and not car skid. So, yaw and steering angle sensors are out of game I think. But can't get why the car sees this condition in 4wd mode only and never in RWD. If it is ABS sensor related problem, shouldn't it trigger this condition in RWD mode too and shoul't it have issues when braking too ?
Any help is appretiated to track down this problem.
