Brake Job

Hey guys, looks like its time to do brake on my 06 Limited. I have done some searching on the forums and looks like most people use/recommend Akebono pads and Centric rotors. Few people say Hawk pads, EBC pads, and Napa rotors and EBC rotors, also a few other outliers but those listed seem to be the most mentioned. Nobody mentions part numbers.
What I have come up with on Amazon is
Akebono ASP606 and ASP976 for front and rear pads
Centric 120.44128 and 120.44129 for front and rear rotors
Amazon has those parts listed at about $210 total
Or EBC has kits S1KF1509 and S1KR1174 for front and rear rotors and pads
Amazon has a price of about $250 total

First off are those accurate part numbers for a 2006 Limited 4x4 with V6. And second is there anything else I should be considering (other companies or parts).
Stealership wants 340/axle + tax
Thanks in advance!

I would suggest that you measure your rotors to be sure you are getting the correct size, I'm pretty sure you have the larger rotors on the front but check to be sure.

I crawled under the T4R today and noticed my front calipers have 13WH stamped on them. Now looking at RockAuto it would seem the I have the 338mm rotors, which would be the larger ones. That would correspond with this CENTRIC 12044127 part number?

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe all 4th gen sports came with 338mm rotors and that it was just an option on the limited.

Yes on the 4Runner Limited.

I was both filled with rage and pleasantly surprised to find out our '08 4Runner Limited (V8/AWD) has the larger brakes.

I had originally intended to do the upgrade, but then when I was shopping parts, I figured, it's only a small difference and sometimes that confuses the shop.

So I ordered the smaller calipers, smaller rotors. Had a killer 25% off from Advanced Auto.

Well, the tech - and this guy is a long time Master Tech at our local Toyota shop - said, these are too small. I was like really? I almost bought the larger but went with the standard fitment.

I guess the heat shield was designed for the larger setup.

So I had the shuttle guy drive me over to Advanced for a swap :D

I wound up with non-painted rotors but will just do that myself at some point. The funny thing with the pricing is the larger calipers at AA are $4 _less_. The calipers have different finishes but I'm going to paint those at some point as well too, so it kind of didn't matter to me.

We ordered this truck special back when it was new, they didn't have the color plus the combination of V8/limited/AWD, but I'll swear I do NOT remember being asked, or specifying the larger brake setup. Maybe as part of a tow package?
