Brake Light

Kinda weird/odd issue that sprung up out of the blue recently...

Whenever I romp on the 4runner the brake light comes on, the same as the E-Brake light. Also when off road whenever I get at a steep incline the light comes on just the same.

My first thought was that I was a bit low on fluid and whenever the ass end sank down the fluid went below the low level sensor and set off the light; but the fluid was full as ever.

Sooo....what is the deal?

Have you checked the actual contact where the sensor makes contact, when the parking brake is engaged? Sometimes the sensor can get loose and make contact when pulled by gravity.

Good idea brother, I will have to check it out tomorrow in the light, it would be good if it was nothing serious
