Brake Pads

I can't remember, do the SE's with the larger rotor have a different brake pad? I'm shopping and can only find one type of brake pad and I just want to be sure both size rotors share the same pads.

Also any issues with the OEM pads? Partznet is running a special for $44.95 a set and since I'm also ordering over $100 woth of stuff I have a coupon code to get 10% off. Can't remember if I had dust issues with the OEM. Are the OEM ceramic?

SE's have run the same pad as the smaller ones.

Yep +1, that's why you can't run 16s, but most SR5s and Limiteds can.

Check your Cailper just to be sure whatya got. WH 13.3 rotor size; WL or WG 12.6 rotors. Prob right with SE being larger. My SR5 has 17 rims but smaller caliper/rotor. Stock brake stuff is good but don't know what they're made of/ I went with all EBC top shelf pads/rotors for all 4 and NAPA calipers for fronts cause I don't feel she brakes as good as she should. Maybe try some aftermarket stuff.

I'll be darned...had no idea. Don't even recall the rim/tire size on the '05 SR5 I had prior to the '07 SE, and certainly didn't notice a diff in rotor size.

Glad to know now 'cuz I'm planning to put drilled rotors on later this year.
