Brake pedal hard to push?

I just got done putting in some new rear springs and now my brake pedal has become a lot harder to push than before i did the install. I can still stop fine, it just seems like there is a lot less 'give' while pushing on the pedal.

Any ideas?

It sounds like your emergency brake cables were affected by the lift from the new springs. Does your emergency brake have less travel than before?

it doesnt seem like my emergency brake has changed at all...Ill double check this morning.

With it in park release the emergency brake and check behind each rear wheel. make sure the cable isn't tight. If thats OK I guess maybe a kinked hydraulic line to one or both rear wheels. Also a failure of the power brake booster. Or a loose vacuum line to the booster.
