Brake Rotors to remove wheel spacers

I need a rotor that has a deeper center portion...I guess?
I have wheels (just bought Nov 2018), that I had on a 2001 4Runner
That 4Runner got wrecked and now I have a 2008 4Runner
I go to put the wheels on it, and they scrap the calipers, so I had to add in a spacer (I think 1/4"), not much. But it clears the caliper and works fine.
But if I could find a rotor that would do the job, I would prefer that.
Because where I am, I think when the yearly inspection is done, they may fail the vehicle because of the spacers.
So anyone know of rotors that would work in this scenario?

But that doesn't really answer my question.
What I am looking for is a rotor with a deeper well (I guess it would be), so that instead of needing to use a spacer between the wheel and rotor hub, it will just be the rotor the wheel is being secured to.

The links you supplied are relating to the rotor disc size.
By what they say, I have an SR5, so it will be a 319mm...but is there a rotor that is the same measurement, but have a deeper hub?

Not possible to move the rotor with out changing the mounting for the caliper, the steering knuckle. Best to put the 17's back on if you cant use spacers in your state because of inspections.

This is the statute for wheels in VA and I can find no mention of wheel spacers. I read a few other sections and could find no mention of wheel spacers anywhere, so I think you will be fine if the spacers are of good quality. I'd call an inspection station before wheel shopping and ask something like, "Will having wheel spacers cause a vehicle to fail inspection?"

I read as well, and didn't think I saw anything talking about spacers either.
I was going by information the guy at the tire shop told me when I picked up the spacers.

Well when I bought the rims, they were for my 2001
So I got 16x8's
And they fit fine on my 2008....it was just the caliper it would scrape against.
Adding in the spacer corrected that...the only thing I had to do after was get longer wheel studs and change them out.
Which that sucked.

The driver side was more annoying because the axle would lock, where as the passenger side would not.
So can anyone explain why the driver side axle does not spin freely?

I just did the wheel studs on mine and had to put the trans in neutral to get them move on both sides, this is on a V8 with the "all-wheel drive".

Don't think you will find a a rotor that will replace your spacer. The position of the caliper determines where the rotor has to be so basically you are looking for a thicker rotor hub with the thickness all to the outside if I understand.

Doubt that you will find such .

I agree, and in addition to that, the studs will definitely be too short then! It’s way cheaper, easier, and safer to just get new rims that fit correctly. I did a ton of research on here before buying my rims, mainly to be sure I picked the correct offset to achieve the look I was going for. I mentioned the stud length because that is something I need to address this season because I’m not comfortable with the thread engagement on the front studs with my aftermarket wheels since they don’t use shouldered lugs like the stock wheels did. Having a thicker rotor hat or most spacers (if they don’t have integrated studs) would just make that situation worse.

What do you mean by this? The SR5 comes with 16" wheels. What is 'normal', and for what?

No, the 4th Gen 4Runner SR5 came with 17 inch wheels.
