No more warped rotors.
The 4runner stops on a dime, or close to it in comparison to the stock calipers and pads whether one is using the 4runner to tow, descend a mountain, or similar. If you have a lift, the pluses become more apparent.
The only drawback, other than the price upgrade of bigger calipers, rotors, and the like is the possibility of an initial spongy brake pedal. Mine was like this at first and it turned out to be caused by: bubbles in the fluid that were finally flushed out after about 500 miles and using used brake pad clips or springs, that were ultimately replaced with new ones. The brakes worked well since.
