Brake warning light question

After months of looking, I finally found the 4-Runner that wanted last weekend. Saved a ton, love it, drives great. So, my wife is driving it on Sunday and goes about 1/2 mile with the parking brake on (mainly through the neighborhood). When the shake starts, I notice and she takes it off. Car still drives fine. Yesterday I head off to work and notice that the brake warning light is on. The yellow one on the left guage like ((0))
Everything seems normal but the light is staying on. Any suggestions? I'm only in my fourth day as 4-Runner owner and really hope this is something harmless.

All of you were very helpful during my long search for my ride so thank you in advance for any responses this time around.

What year do you have not that it should matter? The brake light usually comes on when the brake fuel is low or parking brake is on.

Sorry about that.
It's a 2004 SR5. And the light that's on actually looks like (!) instead of my previous descrption. It's yellow and not the red Brake light. I'll check the brake fluid when I get home this evening.

That looks to me like the tire pressure warning light. I think ALL of us have had that light come on one time or another. Just check the pressure in all of the tires, INCLUDING the spare. Once all 5 tires are filled back to their recommended psi (32), the light will turn back off again.
