Ok...I like to drive fast. I like European sports cars and muscle cars. My 4Runner is my first body on frame SUV. I have a 2016 SR5 premium.
Surprisingly, it really doesn't handle all that bad for a big body on frame truck.
I drive to work on some nice winding back roads. It was a beautiful day. Warm...sun was shining...had all the windows and sunroof open and some good tunes on the radio. I drove my 4Runner hard on the way to work today....punched it on the straights, dove it into the turns and back on it out of the turns. Obviously, it didn't handle like a sports car but if you pick your lines right and don't go into the turns too too fast, it can still be fun.
By the time I got to work and parked though, I could smell the brakes pretty good. I don't think she was meant for the way I was driving her. I won't do that too often.
Anyone else heat their brakes up that much?
