Brakes work like this?

So I've had my brakes inspected a few times, always with no problems. But I wanted to make sure your brakes work like this as well-

The 4R seems to have pretty un-subtle ABS for me. When it starts doing its thing, I get push back and a click-click-click feeling/sound from the brake pedal- I notice this on snow, when 4wd'ing on rough terrain, etc.

I suppose I don't mind it but it seems pretty aggressive/obvious, where I don't recall seeing it like this in other types of cars. Thoughts?

:iagree: It is aggressive. You also hear it with wheel spin scenarios due to the ATRAC and VSC using the ABS to "help out".

Yeah, VSC is the slip control, right? I've definitely seen it then too when sliding on ice.

Yes. ATRAC gives you the limited-slip (posi-traction like) function and VSC is your general slip/skid control.
