braking issues

Is it common on fulltime 4WD ie: my 2007 to have the brakes pump when stopping. I had been thinking maybe it is just something with a fulltime 4x4 vehicle or that they needed to be bleed or something.

Its honestly not an issue it just makes it so stopping is kind of jerky.

to elaborate as I slow over a distance with moderate pressure the brakes seem to grab and go...grab and go until stopped but on a fast stop its just normal.

My guess is that you've got a "warped" rotor (not actually warped, but more likely pad material has deposited on the rotor). You need to find the bad rotor and replace it and its brake pads. Probably go ahead and replace the rotor on the other side as well. It is also possible that you have a frozen caliper.

ill get it up on stands and take a look soon, hoping its neither of those issues, but thanks for the response ill check

Also check to make sure the slide pins are free.
