last night i picked up a clean 2007 Nautical Blue V6 2WD.
now, i'm coming from a long line of Mustang GT's with my only "in-between" car being an Altima. my family is just growing. i have a 9 year old and now a 2nd baby due in June, so i knew there was one vehicle i wanted...
i by no means want to modify this thing like crazy, but i am interested in several cheap or DIY things. i would LOVE to have black headlamps instead of clear, and i'd like to see the grille black. i might remove all the badges. i want to leave the tails alone as i like the contrast. i could plasti-dip the wheels... just want to set the car apart from the crowd of 4Runners, but i don't want to get carried away.
what are my best options for getting a black grille & black headlamps? i'm not at all fond of some of the funky looking "halo" type projector headlamps.
any advice/tips for a 4Runner newbie?
also, it appears that all windows except the front 2 and windshield are tinted... is that from the factory?
