Took my stock 95 out 4wheeling a few weeks ago at Hollister Hills. I'm really impressed with the 2nd gens off-road ability. Didn't find anything I couldn't got over or through. Hoping to get back out there soon.

Yep I have a 93 and I only got stuck once because I was getting through everything my buddies Jeep was so I got a little ballzy and well water came in through the passenger door LOL

Yeah you just have to be mindful at least with my 4runner that it has an open diff but thats about it

I was by myself so I wasn't pushed to anything I didn't feel comfortable with, but the t4r did awesome. Too bad about the water. I thought I might get water in the mud hole, but it was just below the door.

It was a blast. The AT's did great and I was impressed with how they gripped. I'm hoping to get out again soon, but I'm in the process of moving. The 2nd gen is a quality off-roader and if I didn't have a saggy rear end I wouldn't have hit my tow hitch as much.

Yeah I was a little nervous at first because my girlfriend said she would cut off my manhood if I broke my 4runner. I ended up doing it twice though. I found a water hole to wash it off a little, but the car wash was definitely muddy.

I think I had the most fun with mine when it was stock with some 31's. The way it is set up now its hard to challenge, but when it was stock I felt like I was proving something...

What sucks is photos never do the steepness of a hill climb justice Stuff just looks smaller in photos...

Yeah I got through the mud. It didn't struggle at all. The t4r did amazingfor being stock and having the factory shocks still in.

i got three good all terrains and one bald one which is a slick lol. but yea i want to get the hankook mt:naughty::naughty:. i wana see how the motor will do. i wana rebuild it runs good but slow. but thats how all the 3.0s are i guess

It has 118,XXX. i bought it a few months ago with a blown head gasket and some other problems.

how hard was it to replace hg?

I didn't do the HG myself. I had the toyota dealership do it and it was a good thing. My heads had to be resurfaced and there was a ton of other things not done with the engine. If you search over at yotatech I'm sure they will have some write ups. I don't think its extremely hard, but you just have to know what to look for when its all taken apart.
