Breckenridge Bound!

Hey all,

Just wanted to see if anyone is located in Summit County, I'll be making the trek to Breckenridge CO from Maryland for a new job and EMS school. I took a semester off last year and worked in Winter Park as a ski instructor. Fell in love with CO so it was only fitting I found my way back! Super excited to get out there with my 05 SR5 4Runner. I'm going to wait until I'm settled in to get my lift and tires on. With the collaboration of some of the members on here, I decided it didn't make much sense to do the install before the long haul (about 27 hours). My buddy I'm moving in with will be gone till mid June for a long road trip so if anyone is in the area and wants to show me some spots I would absolutely be thrilled to meet some of you. Can't wait to get out there and start exploring, but it would be nice to have some sort of direction on where to start LOL. Let me know!

That's awesome man. I used to live on Ridge St. diagonal of the post office in downtown Breck about 10 years ago. I've been back a couple of times but still, a while ago. I'd like to get back there to see how things have changed. Enjoy!

Very nice! I'll be moving in on High Point Dr. not sure if you're familiar with that area. I've heard some great things about the post office there haha :suspicious:. I only visited Breck once when I lived out there last year and it was awesome. If you're ever back in the area let me know!

Yeah man, it was sick. Less than a 5 minute walk to my shop and to one of the main lifts. It was perfect.

My family and I visited there for the first time last summer and we loved it. Going back there this July as well. Wish we could move there. Almost bought a time share there I liked it so much.

I have yet to be in CO for the summer and I must say I'm very excited. Such a beautiful place that I'll have the pleasure of calling "home." Best of luck to you and your family, you'll have a blast! Taking the 4runner?!

Taking the 4runner?!

Yes. Probably the 2014 but there is a chance my 2008 will make the trip. I will be taking my 2008 to the FJ summit though.
