It's been a long journey but I'm finally back in a 4Runner; the right 4Runner.

I started out with a 2011 Limited, I hated it because it felt anemic - not enough engine for me. I made the move to a 2016 Tundra, loved it. Tons of power, tons of room for anything and everything. I ended up ditching it when I deployed in September for no real reason, just wanted to switch it up. I'm moving to DC soon so something smaller will be nice.

Enter my most recent purchase, a 2006 white Sport Edition. I've always loved 4th gen's but sadly being 6'4" I never fit. Turns out you can find them without a sunroof and that gets you an extra 1-2" of headroom..just what I needed.

Heres a few dealer pics:

Its pretty clean overall. 79k miles. V6.

Now heres what the dealer didn't show me..the joys of buying vehicles sight unseen:

I'm having my detailer come out in a few weeks to work his magic on both the damage and the rest of the truck. He applies these nano coatings that make the paint look amazing for years with no need to wax or seal.

Short list for when I get back in March is:

-A full POR-15 makeover for the frame/undercarriage
-Custom drawer setup in the back with a removable sleeping platform addition
-Interior rear window switch and lift gate opener
-Full audio system..I've gotta have my tunes.
-Weathertech floor mats
-All fluids, filters, and plugs.

Long term list:

-Full suspension refresh with a small lift
-Rims and rubber
-5th gen brakes
-URD supercharger kit
-Leather

Stay tuned for updates. :usa2: - Brian
