Right on! Revo's here I come! Even though UP TO $100 is not much of a discount... especially since I just checked at my local Costco (included mounting, balancing, lifetime rotations, psi checks, nitrogen filling <as opposed to just regular air>) for $160 a piece. I think the total was something like $905 for a set of 5 (spare).
 
Never saw any discounts advertised, but last weekend i headed to the local firestone to check out the prices on the REVOs. To my surprise, they had the tires in stock. 2 had to be shipped in from another store, but they said that i could still have them for the sale price even though i'm actually getting them 1 week after the sale has ended. Their regular price was $200.00 (265-65-17s)each, but with the sale, i'm getting them a $158 each. It's kind of like a buy 3 get one free sale. Though i'm only ordering 4, think they quoted my around $780. Getting them in the morning...can't wait! Drove once in the rain with the dunflops and the runner felt very unpredictable in wet weather; it was then i knew it was time to replace, especially after all their great reviews on tirerack.
 
Rebate form?

Is there a form that needs to be filled out to get this rebate? Is it available from any dealer that sells Revos?

Read the link posted above to get the info, mac0822. You do need a rebate form. You should be able to get the form from anyone who sells Bridgestone tires.
 
I just Emailed the Tiresavings.com to have them send me the rebate form. If I don't get it by saturday then I'll find a local retailer that sells Bridgestones to get the form I need.

you guys should really try going to Costco... (if you have one nearby and are a member)... they're selling them for $160 a piece and that includes mount, balance, psi checks, flat repair, and rotations. pretty good deal if you ask me. I'm saving up so I can replace all five (incl spare) with Revo's. will cost me a little over $900 total... hopefully I'll save up before rebate ends.

problem with costco is most of them won't put on anything but the stock size, 265/65/17, where as many members here prefer to up size it to 265/70/17's...

really? the guy I talked to at Costco was actually offering me to get something bigger! hehe he was in mid-late 20's like me and was asking what size I wanted and if I wanted something wider/taller! maybe it's my good luck... ;):

i notice you're in S.F., which Costco did you go to?? i would go there if they allowed upsizing, but the one here in san jose and santa clara definitely doesn't

the Costco I went to doesn't offer the rebate program, but the guy did tell me that it would apply if I went to a local firestone/bridgestone and got the rebate from them. or i could print off a copy from the link above..

i'm not sure if the one i asked would upsize either, i asked if they would do it, and the guy was unsure.. he told me to call back during the week to ask his manager if they would do it. but i'm not sure, as i haven't really shopped around, if it would be cheaper to go with the upsize tire if i were to buy it outside Costco, or just go with the stock tire size from Costco. probably the latter, at least i'd expect it to be.

but if i do upsize, i'd need to get all 5.. i stopped doing a 5 tire rotation, so i would probably just get the 4 if i went with the stock tire size.

ahh.. i really want Revo's, but I don't need them yet.. Doh, I guess I just need to drive more.. haha..
 
Just picked up Revo's tonight from Costco. Costco's price installed was $660 for 4 tires. Firestone's price was around $830. I chose the 265-65-17's. Both prices included road hazard coverage, lifetime rotation, etc. These tires are everything that this group has stated. What a difference they make in my 04 Sport V8. I only had 10,000 miles on the Dunlops... but from what I have heard tire prices are going to rise drastically in the next couple of months, so I decided not to wait. I also didn't want to go through another winter with the terrible Dunlops. Shame on Toyota for continuing to use these tires on such a great and capable vehicle. I ordered the tires on Monday and they got here on Friday. Costco's service was really professional. No problem with tire pressure monitors after installation.

If you look on Firestone's/Bridgestone's web site you will see they are raising prices 8% on all tires effective Nov 1st. More increases can be expected after that one.

As a side note -I didn't know the Revo's were Made in Japan.
 
Just got my $75 rebate check on Saturday after purchasing them from Costco in Sept. Less the rebate check the Revo's were just $630 including tax, mounting, free rotation, haz warranty etc, etc.
