Bridgestones are noisy

I have about 43,000 miles on my 2006 2WD and I noticed the Bridgestone tires are becoming noisy. I have rotated them very 7500 miles.

Is this the norm for Bridgestone ?

If these are the stock Bridgestones, then i am really surprise that you got 43k miles from it. I would bet that it is near the end of it's useful life.
 
Yes they are the stock Bridgestones and I have about 40% tread left. My neighbor has a Tacoma and he got 70,000 miles out of his stock Bridgestones the H/T Duellers D840 model.

What is recommended for long life and quiet ride? I don't do any off road drivng
 
Wait for next CostCo $60 rebate on 4 sale and get the Michelin Cross Terrains. They were $154 (265/65x17) couple months ago out the door (disposal/mtg/balanced/hazzard insurance/new valves/nitrogen/free rotation&flat repair + 6 warranty) + taxes)

Ouch - I just checked and they are up to $220 each! Glad I got 5 when I did.

Most likely in January. It happens twice a year in the Passport coupon book for $60 off Michelins or BFGs.

CrossTerrains are $230 for the 18" the last time I checked. :(
 
I just got LTX M/S's installed on my truck from Costco for $826, with an instant $80 rebate! That is a lot cheaper than the Cross terrains, and from all the research I have done, which has actually been WAY TOO MUCH, they are a better tire.
 
It's the final life of your tires. I'm using Bridgestones since I had my first car and maybe spent 50k miles. But Michelin's one of the great deals too.
