I really didn't want to take this job on (more lazy than anything) but I did. I suspected you were right and I can confirm. Car drives well with no sway off and on the accelerator. Highway driving is now stable again.
I still want to see what the alignment shop says and I want to give them a little crap as they suggested I have a bent axle in addition to worn components.
I've done this type of job several times and I can share this with anybody attempting the job with urethane. Bolt holes will not line up easily. Have a plan for that. I wish I had a spud wrench but a selection of pry bars and some tapered punches in the holes got it done. Cutting out the lower control arm shells sucked also. 20 ton press wouldn't touch them for some reason. I've had no trouble on other vehicles but this one ate my lunch. Maybe I just got older and I can't swing the hammer as hard...hehe.
