Broken 1 wire sender, what is it?

I was changing the fuel filter today and I broke a little yellow switch with one wire connector that screws into the side of the block. It is right next to the oil filter and a PITA to get to. I now have a check engine light on? I just want to know what this thing is so I can get a new. BTW, this is on an 85 4runner 5 speed 22re.

unfortunately my truck is not the same so
i can not be certain. but do you have an oil pressure gauge? I have my oil pressure sender right next to the oil filter and when
the stupid repair guy broke it I noticed because my oil pressure gauge was not working. Of course he said he did not do it and it was already broken. I had to get a soldering iron and fix it myself later.

I would have to look at mine to double check, I'm at school right now. But I'm pretty sure it's your oil pressure switch... If it's a big aluminum plug in the side of the block it should be the oil pressure switch...
