They could have removed the control arm in the parking lot. And it would have only taken one of them. I don't mind dealers, I've been treated well by them, but this is just silly.

Exactly, why didn't they just jack it up in the lot, take off the lower control arm and take it inside to r&r the ball joint? Guess there wasn't a thinker in the bunch.
