I was installing my K&N intake kit today and the first step is to remove the engine or "thottle body" cover. When I did this I noticed one of the bolts simply broke in half. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can get a replacement or should I just go to the dealer and have them replace it. I would just replace the bolt on the bracket but it's welded to it. By the way, this is for an 05' 4.7L Sport.

You can probably just drill a new hole for it. The cover is just for cosmetic purposes.

I'd do what NJShadow says...cut the bolt flush with the bracket it's welded to then drill a hole were the old stud was. Slap a new bolt in and either use it the old fashion way or take it to a welder and have them tack it in place so you don't have to hold both ends ever time you take the cover off.

I ended up purchasing new brackets for the throttle body cover from Toyota Parts Overstock.com - OEM Factory Toyota and Scion Parts | ToyotaPartsOverstock.com. There are several other websites that sell the parts as well. Each bracket cost approx $5.
