so i get my truck back from the dealer the other day, and my xm doesn't work. i use it everyday (especially during the stanley cup playoffs) so imagine my frustration. i noticed that "antenna" was flashing on the screen, so i checked it out and saw that i have a pierced wire near my liftgate. intermittent signals received, guess i need a new antenna. pissed.
i know i should take it back to the dealer (they might not do anything) but i am tempted to replace the antenna on my own, cause i don't want to wait for them to fix my car. the problem is, there are so many xm antennas out there, i am not sure what hookup i have. i have included a few pictures of the receiver from under my seat in hopes that someone here can point me in the right direction.
