look on ebay, grill guards are not worth 500.. for that you can get a tjm 17, or 280 more you can get a tjm15 shipped to your house and they look awesome

I have been thinking about getting one also, but I am a little worried about 1 thing with the brush gaurd. My father bought a new Durango when they first came out and had a brush gaurd installed. Well sombody backed into him (pretty hard) and it smashed up the whole front end (hood, quarters, grill, lights and bumper), the guy at the body shop told him that if he didn't have the guard the damage would have been much less. Does this make sense to you guys? What do you think?

^^^ Yup that's about right. They tend to do more damage if hit then protect, but there so damn stylish :D. I have one but I bought mine with it already installed and I've grown fond of it.

they are attached to the frame underneath the bumper, giving them flex to the hit the bumper, if drilled by somebody else, the grill guard will utterly destroy bumper and everything behind it. grill guard might not be too damaged though but everything else is.

i have done quite a bit of shopping and found that after shipping cost, it's cheaper to buy from a local retailer, even after the tax is paid.
