Bubbling rad hoses and return bottle on '95???

OK, I was just checking fluids on my wife's '95 SR5 4Runner, (3.0L auto if that helps).

Oil was a tad low and so was trans fluid, so I topped everything and took it for a spin around the block. When I parked it, it sounded like a coffee machine "perkulating". Popped the hood and heard bubbling from top rad hose and in the return bottle. Let it cool and opened the rad cap to find a brownish paste. Not real thick, but not the watery consistancy it should've been. When I looked in the return bottle it was filled with this "goop"!!

Now I'm worried and my wife doesn't like seeing me worried when it comes to her 4Runner!!

Can anyone give me some input on this?? Much appreciated!!

The Toyota dealer just replaced the rad in '02 when it blew up on her. Ruined her hood and was a hell of a mess!! Had the whole front of the Runner repainted. She's really paranoid after that experience.

BTW, the 4Runner has 166K on it and purrs like a kitten! My wife has taken very good care of it!!
