Bucket list items/projects

Grabbed some coolant today from my local dealer and of course there was a beautiful new Tundra on the lot. I LOVE the brown leather interiors and every time I see one or any brown leather interior for that matter, it reminds me of my final project or item on my 4everrunner. Paint and completely new brown leather interior.

What are some of your-alls bucket list items and projects?

There's a guy on TW that does good prices on Katzkin, he quoted me under $900 to my door with a few upgrades. Install seems easy just time consuming.

The Money Pit has a bottom?

Just picked up a stock '08, so the list is long. Immediate "on orders" are cheaper (after the purchase), while pricier bucket list items come next year...

Items on order (self-gifting for the holidays):
- WeatherTech front/rear floor & cargo mats; Cup-phone
- Saddleblanket seat covers, front & rear
- Black grille
- Black-smoke LED headlight assemblies
- LED foglight bulbs
- LED interior light bulbs

Buckets for 2021:
- Spydertrax wheel spacers
- Suspension to replace X-REAS, to provide lift & to add weight
- Front bumper with winch
- Rear bumper with spare tire/gas can mount
- LED rear and front flood lights
- Roof rack (maybe)
- Wheels and tires
 
I just picked mine up so obviously the list of small things I'm trying to pick up is pretty long and boring so I won't go into that. It's the obvious stuff for making it a bit more capable while leaving the mechanical stuff pretty much alone since it's winter, I live in a cold snowy city, and I don't have a garage haha.

Right now the biggest "ultimate goal" would be a drawer system and sleeping platform. The goal is to build it out for skiing road trips in the winter and being able to work on the road with all the new flex work policies. I'd probably try and make it compatible for the summer too to get the bike back there.

I think about this a lot lol. I bought the truck back in March knowing that it would be used for our single-car family as a DD/family hauler. Keeping this in mind I didn't want to go crazy with modification as I needed to keep the reliability and MPG the top priority.

If/when my wife is able to find another job (covid-related job loss) and we're able to buy a second vehicle where the T4R wouldn't be the only horse in the stable, I plan on doing the following:

Suspension:
OME 884/895 (I already have 5100s installed)
UCA
Diff drop

Wheels/tires:
Method Racing 702s
285/70 series ATs

Pretty minimal compared to some other rides but that's bucket list/post-covid joblessness for me.

Awesome, thanks! I will take a look! I know I had been grabbing some ideas on here from some of the 4th gen threads, and even before I bought it I had started looking around at ideas. Having some actual plans to look at/see what it would take would be hugely helpful for the future!
