BudBuilt Sliders - to go beefy or not???

After going back and forth and almost pulling the trigger on the BudBuilt Sliders, I still cannot decide which ones to get - the regular ones or the beefy ones.

For those who bought the beefy ones, why did you choose those? They seem absolutely bullet proof but they are about 30+ lbs heavier than the standard ones and is the extra strength necessary. Here in Socal most of the wheeling I do is desert and some trails, not much rock crawling but that's not to say I dont plan on going to Moab or Utah someday soon.

Any comments, suggestions, observations, remarks?

SOcalTrail, you get what you pay for......if you can afford the "better" or stronger ones, why not? 30lbs is really not much of a concern if you know what you got will stand up better then the "lighter ones". You only go around once my friend. Be safe.
