Bugs in my '07 SE

No, not insects, I mean little problems. I traded in my '04 SE V6 for an '07 SE V8 a week and a half ago and I'm thinking my '04 was in better shape. Anybody else experiencing a creaking sound from the driver's side backseat area? At first I thought it was the seatbelt buckle rattling around but once I stabilized it I still have that annoying creaking sound. Driving me nuts! Plus today I finally get it out on the highway and there's an incredible amount of steering wheel vibration. Is that normal for V8's? Would it be an alignment problem? I noticed it pulled to the left a lot if I loosened up on the wheel. Anyway, I'm taking it back to the dealership just so they can give it a once over, but I was curious as to whether there's anybody else having these issues.

My guess on the shaking would be the alignment was knocked out during shipment and should be an easy fix.

On my 06 I found the fix for the creak on here some where. Fold down the passenger side rear seat and wrap a piece of electrical tape around the strike where the latch hits. The sound on mine has been gone ever since.

Balance not alignment

As I understand it.

f you are out of alignment, you will pull to one side or the other and thus wear one side of the tire down faster. It shouldnt' cause vibration like you are having

If you have vibration in the steering wheel, that is more than likely tire balance. Also the faster you drive, the more the vibration will be noticed.

Mine were out of balance when I picked it up.
