2001 T4R Sport 4wd ​

Bought her in Tennessee on Oct 31 2015 where she has lived all her life so far. 2 Previous owners. Picked her up at a young age of 196xxx. The goal for her now is to make her perfect mechanically do some basic mods like window tint stereo. Then its lift time





She has a very nice (no mud) engine bay.



First mod K&N air filter, ,much needed.

c1253 Motor relay circuit
c1201 engine comm. circuit
p0440 evap crap
p0441 incorrect purge flow
p0446 vent control circuit

Diff Leaking
transfer case leak
Possible head gasket leak
worn suspension
worn tie rods
warped rotors
rear axle seals
drum brakes worn
Ball joints worn
surface rust

All to be attended to within the next 2 months.

Some maintenance.
New drive belts
Coolant
Thermostat
Water pump
And a tiny light for the gear shifter.

Next order of business is to handle all of the codes.

Think so? I sold it to a dad who was giving it to his son in Tennessee. Maybe he's in college now in Athens. I would love to see the condition it's in now. I'm glad to be in a 4Runner too. This ones having problems just need to work through them and it'll be great

Next time I see it I will take a picture and pass it your way. It looks like what yours looked like before you sold it. And it has only been around here for a year or so..

Heres my competition. Its a 2004 100,000 4wd 5speed Tacoma IG @jrtacoma





Did a couple things the other day. New Kenwood Single din radio. Ran the mic cord up the pillar all tucked away and neat Pics come later. Also threw on LED Amber corner lights. Loved these on the old build were a must on this one. Also put in white LED dome lights, reverse and license plate.

Heres some of the rust I have to deal with. Im thinking about using my friends shop and removing the body from the frame and really cleaning the frame. Then also putting on a 3in lift and 1in body spacer.
