is that a new rear bumper from SSO? Any pix? The one I've seen the bumper runs all the way up to the taillight

Rear bumper is the only bumper they sell. Renderings are not always exact. With these builds for SEMA and magazines some items are put in the rendering before a manufacturer agrees to sponsorship and are generic.

You are right. The only difference is not anyone can get to SEMA. I am lucky enough to have gotten my foot in the door a long time ago. Now companies who I have worked with in the past, contact me. I don't do this for a living, I have a real job. This is just a really expensive hobby. :crybaby:

I was meaning cooling air. It looks like 90% of the radiator's air flow is blocked. I recognize many mods are not for improved function, but the T-REX grill insert creeps toward actually causing damage. I understand the billet inserts are known to cause overheating in diesel trucks, but I'm not sure how much you can get away with blocking on a 4runner before it becomes an issue.

I have had T-REX grills on ALL my trucks and SUVS. I have never had a temperature issue and I I live in Phoenix, AZ. Airaid would not produce products that would damage manufacturer parts or they would not be in business.

I absolutely love the look of this thing, can't wait to see the completed rig. think maybe the combination of the billet grill and the led light together, may be an airflow issue, especially when trail crawling. When eliminating approximately 60-65% of airflow it has to effect temps, no way around that.

Ok guys, first I would not disagree that blocking a significant amount of airflow is bad. But pulling numbers out of thin air to make your point?

Other people are running this bumper, do a search. Once you have done that search then PM the owners of vehicles with this bumper and ask them if they are overheating. I'm almost certain that if this bumper were creating issues with cooling there would be a thread about it. People don't keep quiet about such things.

Just on here chatting about your cool rig, wow. I guess you missed the word approximately. I don't have your measurements but the numbers are the numbers. You cover 50% of the stock grill, you cut down your airflow by 50%. Looks like about 65% to me, but again, only you can figure that out. Did not say it would overheat but it will increase engine temperatures from stock, there's no way it can't. And again we're just chatting. I think these are good and valuable comments.
