Built some boxes today...

i was tired of having my sub amp taking up space in the cargo area so i built some boxes to cover the wheel wells to mount stuff on. heres what i did:

now that i have lots of space to mount it, a fire extinguisher is on my list of things to buy.
I might still see if i can find some carpet to match the sub box if i feel ambitious one day, but i will probably leave it as is.

As you said, if you get some matching carpet on those, would look even slicker.

no i dont think the amp would fit inside the box, heck i doesnt even fit on the top. if you look closely you can see that the 2 mounting holes on the left are hanging off. the RCA plugs stick out to far, so i just got 2 right angle brackets since i took the pics so i can screw the amp down with all 4 screws. i agree though, i would be nice to hide it completely. as a matter of fact i was originally going to somehow fit it in one of the side cargo pockets, but the bottoms are rusted through so it would just get full of dust.

btw the thing on the left is actually a 1000W inverter, i havent hooked it up yet its just there for looks right now
