Looks like the Toyota Sport Bumper Trim to me.

Bummer, those are not cheap and the price doesn't seem to match the quality... ~$500 and part plastic... errgghh... why they haveta look cool? Lol anyone know of a similar maybe all-steel aftermarket version? I'm looking at the steelcraft too and although I like it, I'm digging the wider width of the oem...

I feel ya . I'm leaning towards the Steelcraft too but just wishing it was a bit wider to match the front bumper opening ....[emoji37]

Right? I did read somewhere that steelcraft does make wider more protective versions of their bull bars, but I can't seem to find any that are applicable to T4Rs... Anyone heard of this?

Yeah, the price for the OEM one is just stupid high. Mine came with one and it broke on the black part when someone bumped into me while it was parked at the store. I can't justify spending over $500 for a new one so I am just leaving it for now. Might end up taking it off and getting some grey anodized bolts to fill the holes. Unless someone here has one for sale on the cheap

Just received and installed a Westin ultimate bull bar onto my 2006 SR5 and while I like the way it looks, it is certainly not offering anything more than minimal protection. If someone taps your bumper parking in front of you it will protect your bumper, if you run into a deer this will likely just bend without much protection. You can take the bumper cover screws off and have it sit flush against other metal, but I am not sure if it will end up touching the bumper being 3/4" closer. I may try that at some point after taking a closer look. Installation as outlined in the instructions took about 25 minutes with no need to modify anything underneath the truck by myself. Definitely use the box to prop up the bull bar when attaching to the brackets, its a big help if you are installing on your own.

I already tossed it. Went with the Tundra skid plate and made custom brackets (followed momo's instructions). So far so good.
Can you post more info about the model Tundra Skid plate and the link to the bracket instructions please? Thanks

I know I am reviving an old thread but hope to get the answer I am looking for.
I see that momo's instructions for installing the Tundra/Tacoma skid plate accessory works well on the 2003 - 2005 4th gens since their tow hooks sit flat allowing you to attach the large washers and nut/bolts and custom bracket.
I have a 2008 SR5 base model and my tow hooks slant downward and therefore the brackets don't work. I recall seeing another member with an 08 who had the accessory skid plate installed but I cannot find the thread to inquire with him how he did this, since I assume his 4runner also has downward facing tow hooks.
I appreciate information about this if someone know.
