Bull Bar questions

I'd like to get a bull bar for my '99. I like this one because I like the look and it's a good price:

Does anyone have this product? Reviews are hard to find, but the price is right.

Has anyone ever found that having a bull bar damages the frame in a front end collision? I've seen mixed reviews on that. Just curious...

I'm wanting the bull bar so I can mount some fog lights. I'm thinking about these:

I have a black one!

I actually bought a black one from them, a while back. I got it for $125 shipped I believe. I've had it for a little over a year and thus far the powder coating is holding up very well. Does it over a lot of protection? No, but it looks good. It's pretty sturdy overall. I've sat on it, climbed on it, and have some lights mounted on it. I've even tied a strap to it and my roommates pulled it in the ice (dumb idea I would suggest you try.) It took me about 45mins to install because some of the bolts on the truck were a bit seized. I got it because people on campus park real close and I had my bumper hit (a small ding/scratch) a couple times so I figured it'd offer a little protection while also covering the scratches. Lastly, these are made for the "fat lip" front bumpers on 3rd gens. Sorry for the long post but hopefully I answered your question(s).

I have it. Frame damage from a bull bar? I don't see how that's possible. If anything in a collision it's going to fold up like tin foil, along with the mounts that it attaches too. They are just for looks and holding accessory lighting. That's all I wanted mine for.
