Bull bar touching bumper

Those who have a bull bar, does yours touch the bumper?

I bought some off brand on ebay, it was a good price and got it within a day. Bull Bar 03 09 Toyota 4 Runner 4Runner Lexus GX470 Push in Black Stainless Steel | eBay

Not sure how much clearance it should normally have. It's mounted to the bolt behind the bumper, I wonder if I can add some washer to extend it forward if it will help.

There should be some space between the bumper and the damage multiplier (aka bull bar). Most of the ones I have seen have an inch or so space.

I have one of these in stainless steel on my 03, and there is a small gap between the bar and the bumper.

The mounting hardware may be year/model specific.

Thanks. His got a pretty good gap. I'll need to add washers on mine to bring it forward. All I need is a slight gap. I am pretty sure mine is installed properly and the bar does not look damage. It could be my after market bumper made a different.
