Maybe I'm missing something... the nose looks identical to all the others to me.
The front seems to be structured much the same as all of the 5'th gen 4Runners; ...really don't see the problem. Perhaps there was a slight change to the new 2014 bull-bar product and the auto retailers haven't ordered them (as of yet) due to 'N.O.S.' surplus. When I installed mine, there were a couple of plastic pieces underneath that needed to be discarded e.g., weather-liner and skid plate attachments but nothing major. Do we know that the 2012 or 2013 bull-bar wouldn't fit it?
Australian companies like ARB and TJM often call their steel plate bumpers bull bars or winch bumpers. Maybe that's what the OP meant rather than the "nudge bar" in the pic you posted.

You could be right about that; though I've never heard of a front bumper referred as such. Maybe the OP will check back in and define his concern, thanks!
"Unlike most brush guards and grille guards, ARB bull bars incorporate a fully engineered mounting system which completely replaces the standard bumper. During the design process, careful consideration of numerous factors ensures it will properly serve its purpose."
