Bull Bar?

Hey guys,

I am really starting to dig the look of the bull bar on the 4runner, at first I didn't care for them, but the more pictures I see of your guy's rigs with them, the more I like it! Can anyone recommend a good company or website that sells a quality product for a decent price?

Thanks so much in advance! :thanks:

This is the type I'm looking for....

Several options out there, but only one worth having is Steelcraft. It's actually one of the less expensive ones and is much sturdier than others. It uses four mounting locations where all others that I'm aware of only use two. Best place to buy from is autoanything.com. There are always coupons available for them as well. Only word of advice is to call to make sure they are in stock, some people have reported very long delays due to out of stock items.

Or you could use the Westin shown in your pic (called the ''Westin Ultimate Bull Bar''). That's the same I have on mine. It looks good and all. More pics can be seen in my sig. Can probably find it at summit.com.

But like the postet said above, I've heard great things about the Steelcrafts.

But either would be great.

use the search bar to find many good threads about this already. but, to answer your question, get a steelcraft! everything else is an inferior POS

no offense but I had a westin and it was ****. if you put any weight on it it would bend, and when it finally took a hit it got completely destroyed. however, my steelcraft can support me jumping on it (4 mounting points as opposed to 2), and when it took a hit all it did was cause a small dent (the other vehicle sustained 2400 I'm damages).

You might sell me on switching with comments like that. (Seriously). I agree and notice I can't even really sit on mine! The Westin was on there when I bought it and I love the look of it and assume its lighter because of that? But id rather have something stronger and will look into Steelcraft.

(*On anothet note... How many people are you running into?!? Lol)

Thank you guys for the help! I've looked into both now, and it sounds like the Steelcraft would be the better choice, plus it's a lot cheaper! I can't wait to order it, just have to wait for the hubb's O.K., or at least till X-mas. =) Will post pics when I get it! Thanks again!
