bumpers: check

well, i have raised a little hell about wether or not the bumpers i have purchased were legit. there have been many accusations via the internet that the company was complete trash. well, i got mine on, and ther are legit. the bumpers are fantastic.

my diagnoses of the company: if you are somewhat local to the shop, go for it. just make sure to get them to install for you (its free). the reason i say this is because there have been horror stories about bumpers shipped and not fitting. the shop is legit, the bumpers are great, the only issue is how long it takes. when you see his shop however, you will understand. its tiny. its attached to the back of a wrecker service (the guys working there had never even heard of him) and hes has maybe two other employees. now i dont have a problem with the amount of time it took, but i wish he had told me up front. he claimed two weeks, i took eight. and i have talked to a very reputable local offroad shop, and they fully indorse him and his bumpers, so i dont think i got lucky with mine. they also reconize the problem of the timing though.

HOWEVER, if you plan on ordering them and having them shipped to you, hold off. there are to many stories about bumpers not fitting, but if he installs them he cant pull that crap.

pics tomorrow

what a nice upgrade, they really make it look like an off road truck!

Sucks to be without it for 8 weeks!!

What did it cost you?

kennesaw mountain accessories made the bumpers (Kennesaw Mountain Accessories)

they cost me aroung $1300 for both, but you get different prices for the options they have.

they didnt need my truck at the shop to build the bumpers, so i was only without it for about 3 hours

also forgot to mention, the front bumper is lighned up perfectly, i just have some janky bodywork on the driver side

i think you only got yours cause you were so close. It took them 4 months to get mine. crappy hand wrote directions. And then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted the jack carrier option on the rear bumper. I said sure... so I get the rear bumper and there are two threaded bolts on the back that the jack goes on but get this when you put the jack on you can not drop the tailgate.

I called about this and the response i got was "thats why we dont put it there" WTF!!! you asked me!!!! Be careful about giving a deposit... read the fine print. dont think for one second that when you pay and they dont have your bumper that you are gonna get all your money back..

The only good thing I can say is my front and rear bumpers are tuff as balls!!!!

eh mine are fine, and kyle was a real good guy and worked with me. when did you get yours? from what i have gathered, it seems like he cleaned up his act alot in the last couple years.

I got them almost 3 years ago. I have the exact same setup as you minus the swingout tire carrier. How do you like that part so far? How is the noise while you are driving? Could you take some better pictures of the tire carrier? how does it latch and did you get a hi lift jack carrier installed?
