So I went ahead and ordered burtman carbon fiber pillars. Yes , they are pricey , and in no way cheap. But my pillars were ugly, faded little and beat up from the sun and just time. I was planning up re painting them or use that vinal wrap. But lets be honest, you get what you pay for. Now Jason, has the four set on his website, if you call him he can get you the 6 set. Which include the rear windows, the little pillar. Let me tell you, these are EXACT size and dimensions. There are no overlaps, no ugly imperfections, no ugly cuts nothing. The pillars came very neatly shipped. With cleaning and prep materials inside. The pillars cost money because, they are actual carbon fiber, but not the hard plastic type, they are rubber type. In other word. They flex. Also, the whole pillar has a 3M sticky built into the carbon pillar it's self. It's not that thick double sided sticky that vendors usually put only around the edge. NO!, this is the whole back of the pillar nicley built into it, all you do it peak it and lay very very carefully. The only way you could not get a perfect match when applying is if you lay it crooked. You must, and I repeat you must have your first few inches alligned perfectly, if not, once you continue to lay it will go out and you will not get a perfect overlay. How do I know this ? Because my first big pillar I layed, I messed up, and I had to peal it of. I recommend heating it up a little and pealing it. Because once the sticky touches your car. It's like superglue. Very very hard to peal of. Possible yes, but hard. I recommend just taking your time. They are very beautiful in person, I already had a guy with a hooked up infinity pull up at the gas station and drool over them. He was asking me questions about the pillars Lol. Anyways even though they are pricy, they are well worth. One of a kind, makes the truck really stand out, and adds a very cool look to it. I've had them on for about 2 months. Had it taken through powerwashes and what not. Nothing is pealing, no fading. Looks like the first day I put them on. Shiny I must say also. One more thing, these are recommended with window visors that go into the window channel. If you have window visors that go over the door, I don't know how these would really fit, since the window visor covers part of the pillar, since one of mine as broken , I ordered new ones that will not interfere with the new pillar covers. I'm sure if you wanted to , you could probably notch tthe pillar but I wouldnt.
