Burtman's lift

I have done alot of searching about different lifts, and am probably going to go with the Cornfed one. My question is this... The lift is a 3 front 2 rear and looks like it perfectly leveled the runner in the first pic, (which is what I want) that I got off of Burtmans site. The second pic is of mine (04 Limited V6 2wd). The third is a crude photochop I did of what I'm hoping for. It seems to me that I need a bigger difference than 1" to level mine. What do you think? I know they all are lower in the front than in the rear, but mine seems even lower than any I see on the road. Am I just imagining this or is there something I'm missing? If the 3-2 lift will level it reguardless then it doesn't matter, but I don't want to install it and still be standing on my nose, thanks.

I think the 3/2 lift will level it up just fine. From your photoshop you have the nose way higher than level and the whole thing higher than the results the cornfed lift will actually give you. Look at the bottom of the running boards for reference. Go measure your actual rake from the rear of the running board to the front and see what it is. I think I had like 1 1/4" of rake before the lift and after I'm like 3/8" or so. Your upsized tires are making it appear to sit lower than others since your wheel well gap is smaller. Since yours isnt 4wd you can go alot higher in the front, so if the Cornfed isnt enough for you you could always get a bigger spacer or something.

Thanks for the reply. Yea, I did get a little carried away with the photochop. It doesn't need to be quite that high anyway 'cause it's my wife daily driver. I guess I'll order it then.

It's 3+2, but with sugged coils after putting ~1000lbs of trail armor and expedition gear. So basicaly 2+1 should look the same on the vehicle without this weight.

Is it just me or does the black limited like mine look lower in the front than the gray one at the top of this thread? The black one is what I'm imagining mine is going to look like, and the gray one is what I want. I wonder if the 2wd's are lower than the 4wd's?

Alex said his springs sagged after putting all the weight on it. So it is sitting lower than the pic of the gray one. The gray one is sitting on a slope too.

Yes, that picture basically shows how 2+1 kit will look like on standard 4Runner (mine is not a standard). The other thing is that I have 265/70-R17 Revos on it which are ~5% larger then stock Dunlops. It also looks like the grey has Revos too. And yes, grey on is on slope, so his front looks higher then it is.

First it was a bit softer then with XREAS. It was right what I wanted. Then I put a bumper and my front start moving like an ocean ship, so I went to stiffer OME coils and my ride become even better then with XREAS, it's soft on the straight line and stiff in the corners. If you take in consideration all armor I put on my truck, I'd say it's great.
My opinion. If you think to go with OME, DO NOT go with stiff coils, unless you have a steel bumper and a winch. You ride will be like you do not have coils at all, just a wood blocks. OME is designing their stuff pretty well and they put allot of efforts to make different kits for different setup trucks.
