Business card holder

I was wondering if anyone has found a use for the card holder next to the moonroof controls in their 4Runner (besides putting business cards in it)?

Side question: Is that even what it is? The 1995 Owner's Manual says absolutely nothing about it.

it serves one function for me. if im pulled over and happen to be wearing my seatbelt, i whip out my duplicate drivers license and one of my insurance cards out of that thing. if im not, the i just reach for the wallet and explain to the officer that i removed my belt to get to my wallet. works for me.

That's a good idea. I'm still really surprised the manual doesn't say one word about it.
