Butchered This H9 Bulb - Still Useable?

Got a bit enthusiastic with the Dremel while removing the unneeded ridge in this H9 bulb and ended up grinding right through the plug casing.

Plugged it in and it works fine but I'm concerned about whether this could lead to problems because of heat or electrical issues. If it were your truck, would you use this bulb or toss it and get a new one? They're only about $5 on Rock Auto but I'd probably try to find a Philips locally instead of paying shipping.

I fully understand any opinions are just that and the decision to proceed, and any risk involved in doing so, is mine.

If I was in a pickle, I'd throw some dielectric grease inside the plug and wrap the outside with electrical tape to create a seal and minimize crud from getting in.

But you like said, they aren't that pricey.

Throw one up for a mulligan.
