buying 04, 90K

Hey there guys, newbie here.
I have been reading this forum for about 2 weeks now while I continue my search for my 4runner.
I took one home last night, its a 2004 SR5 with leather, sunroof, etc. but not sure if the 14,000 asking price is right.

I am coming out of a 123K Trailblazer and just a little apprehensive about purchasing a vehicle with 90K. Everything I have read here says that its probably got another 100K in it, but I was wondering how accurate that is.

Also, it had a bit of a ticking sound while running. Not a knock, so are the fuel injectors just loud on these?

Thanks in advance.
hoss.

Is it 4WD? For 04, 90k with Leather sounds about fair. Is 14K 'out the door' price?
I bought mine last year. It was 2005 2WD, 60K, with leather and GPS. I paid 15500 and out the door was 17200.

You need not to worry about the mileage, ss they say "its is just a number" , as long as you take good care of it.

the ticking is a valve slap, a lot of them have it, mine does, sounds bad at start up but goes away when warm. I would say 90k is still young, if PM has been performed well. I bought mine in 2008 for $14100, 2003 SR5 V8 AWD with $73k. I would try and get em down a lil , especially with gas prices, is it a V8? Ive got 103k on it now, and I dont see how it possibly couldnt see 200k.

went with an 07 with 62K, silver SR5...
I pick it up tomorrow...I am SO excited.

Toyota certified, and I extended the warranty to 8yrs/150K

Good Luck with your 07, I have a 2004 V8 SR5 4WD with 103k on it, I have a small ticking noise but it goes away when the engines warms up. I've had 3 people ask to buy it and $14,000 seems to be a fair price. I can't part with mine, I love it too much! You will be happy with your 4Runner.

Welcome to the family. Promise to take her of her and always post cool pictures on this site and life will be good.
