I currently own a 2020 silver trd 4Runner which I love. Sold my f150 and picking up a new 21 trd silver Tacoma sb. I’m pretty stoked to have the Runner and the Taco. What tires do you recommend for the Tacoma ?

Congrats! It depends on what you want to do with the Tacoma. Answer that first and we can probably help more with suggestions.

Beach driving, may go to Utah this summer mild off-roading but a lot of tarmac. I will not run wildpeaks. I was thinking p rated general atx, contential at I don’t know?

Love my P-rated ATX so far.

Based on your needs of some off-road traction but not a ton of puncture resistance, you'd probably be fine with some P rated all terrains. I was honestly impressed with the P rated tires I had at the beginning. They'll also be lighter than a heavier duty more off-road focused tire, but have less puncture resistance. As with anything, be aware of your limits with whatever tire you choose. E rated tires are honestly overkill IMO unless you put them on a full size pickup and you're towing. C rated tires (which I have) still have a lot of puncture resistance but are lighter than E load. I've put them through A LOT. The general ATX could be a good tire for you or perhaps the P rated Nitto Terra Grappler G2s.

I put 20k on a set of 265/70/17 ATX's on my 4Runner and loved them. Wish they made an SL rated 285. I'm not a big fan of my Toyo AT3's. The ATX was a way better A/T tire. I ran General AT2's on an 05 tacoma I bought new for like 50k and the tires still had lots of tread when I sold the truck.

I've got a 2017 Sport, hoping to add a 5th gen to the driveway soon..

I run Toyo RT E, they are big and heavy. I've heard good things about the Toyo AT3, although poster above probably knows more.
