Buying a used "OME" lift?

A guy I know is selling the 882 with n91 struts (assembled), diff drop, 890s and n86 shocks.

They have 12,000 miles on them.

Would it be wise to buy a used lift or no?

If so, how would this setup work on a '97 4runner?

Brand new this setup would set me back $800 and he is charging half of that. How many miles can you get out of these things before they go bad?

That sounds very fair to me. Depending on usage I would expect 60k-100k out of the shocks and the springs will probably outlast your T4R. If you're a very demanding driver then the springs may have only 90k of life left for you. (Good quality springs retain properties for 100k or better typically.)

I'd offer him $375 and see if he'll bite. If not I'd pay $400 if that's everything; taxes, shipping everything!
